Time flies when....

....you have a new baby, dog, and house!!! We have been a very busy family. Since we last posted we have made 2 cross country trips, travelled to Key West, adopted a 1 year old white boxer puppy, who we named Indie, and battled our first illness, learned how to sit up, smile, laugh, chatter all day long, and jump the springs out of our jumper. We have also started to slowly work on our new home. We have fought the city tirelessly on passing the permit for our new fence...only to have to demand that the fence company come out and reinstall the whole thing. With that said, we are still excited to paint the house and landscape the backyard so that our friends and family can come visit out tropical paradise. :)

Here's the past months of our life in pictures.

Knox and Daddy hanging out before bedtime

We were so excited to have the Human clan down from WA. Joan, Darcy, Geneva, Tony, Bodie, and Luke were so excited to meet their "Baby Knox" for the first time!

Somehow these toes are magnets for lint, fuzz, hair, you name it...its been stuck between his toes

Knox and his great aunt Joanie aka the baby whisper. Whenever Knox was crying, Joan was able to rock and sing him to sleep.

Knox's first pool excursion at Grammy and Pappie's with Mommy and Daddy

Knox and his buddy Sophie...getting good and full for his photo shoot with Monica and Erik

Our first play date ever. Glad we could share it with our good friends the Blumberg girls, Anita and Eileen :)

This was Knox's first airplane ride to Fort Worth for Jonathan and Rachel's wedding and his first introduction to the Darrow family. We had a great time celebrating with Mr and Mrs Ellis and hanging out with Shar Shar, Carol, Sharon, and Claire. Knox did an amazing job as a first time flier. He pretty much slept the entire time...as long as his belly was full.

Knox and Uncle Sean :)

Knox and Sean's favorite sport....sleeping!

So mommy read that if you place your baby on the toilet while they're going it can help with potty training....well this 3 month old was more interested in inspecting the toilet seat and camera than finishing his business. Better luck next time. ;)

Our new baby girl Indie...so exhausted from the new changes that she can't even make it to her crate

Yes, mommy is a multitasker. Morning emails, feedings, and nap time all at once. :)

What are you looking at?

Knox's second time in the pool....becoming a little fish

Listen people, just because I can stand doesn't mean that I want to...

This is following the gorging session at The Grand Luxe Cafe.....their beignets are AMAZING!!

Miss Indie...snug as a bug in a rug

Baby burrito

Hanging out with my boy

My amazingly wonderful mother and traveling nanny....we thank our lucky stars for all her help

Knox's first time placing his toes in the ocean

Our beautiful family in Key West for mommy's annual surgeon Point CounterPoint meeting

Even Indie can't get enough of our daddy.....although I do not advise getting that close to the explosive gas receptacle that lives within my dear George....that's unconditional love at its finest

Hanging out with his buddies at one of our meetups

Yes, Knox officially got his drivers permit....people say they grow up fast and boy they were right ;)

Indie was not so sure about the whole beach thing but we were pleasantly surprised by her willingness to get her feet wet

First time at the Jupiter beach...just along for the ride

Knox is in deep concentration during "tummy time"

Fun times to be had at Toys R Us

All the bridesmaids for my cousin Darcy's wedding

Hanging out with his 2nd cousins in WA...they absolutely love their "Baby Knox" :)

Does this look like the face of a sick boy? Knox came down with a fever the day we left WA. After multiple tests and blood draws, it was determined that it was only a virus...whew! Mommy ended up being pretty sleep deprived but Knox really was a tough little trooper!

Aunt Sharon and cousin Claire parasailing! Unfortunately, this is the only picture we have with them...horrible picture planning but we had a great time seeing them.

Surfing the waves with Mommy....trying to heal some wicked diaper rash caused by his antibiotics. :(

Happy Father's Day Daddy!! You are loved!!

Hanging out on the patio with Mommy, Daddy, and Grammy. He was entertaining us with a very beautiful babble song.

After a whole week of no nighttime sleep or naps, mommy decided it was time for Knox's first tasting of rice cereal..I think most of it made it on his pajamas. :)

Sitting up playing with his favorite singing flower toy!

Knox is amazing us with how quickly he is growing and how fast he is changing. We are absolutely mesmerized by our little man. Who knew your heart could hold so much love.
